Tata Harrier EV Launches June 3: India’s Most Anticipated Electric SUV Is Here

Tata Harrier EV Launches June 3

Tata Motors will release the Harrier EV on June 3, 2025. The launch is a big step forward for India’s electric car business. This upcoming electric SUV will compete with the Mahindra BE 6 and BYD Atto 3. It has a mix of performance, technology, and design.

Powertrain and Performance

The Tata Motors Harrier EV is believed to include a dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) system that gives it about 300 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. The goal of this arrangement is to give excellent performance in both city driving and off-road situations. The car is expected to include a 75 kWh battery pack, which will let it go more than 500 kilometers on a single charge.

Design and Platform

The Harrier EV, designed specifically for electric vehicles, is built on Tata’s ‘acti.ev+’ platform, which is based on the OMEGA ARC architecture. This platform lets the floor be flat, which makes the inside more spacious and comfortable. The SUV keeps the basic appearance of its gas-powered predecessor but adds features that are unique to electric vehicles, such as a closed front grille and aerodynamic alloy wheels.

Inside and Out

The Harrier EV is expected to have a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10-speaker JBL sound system, dual-zone climate control, a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a powered tailgate, ambient lighting, connected car technology, and touch controls for the climate system.

Safety and Tech

Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 360-degree camera, and several airbags are expected to be some of the safety features. These changes are meant to make drivers feel safer and protect passengers.

Cost and Availability

The Harrier EV is estimated to cost between Rs. 24 lakh and Rs. 30 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the model and its amenities. It is expected that reservations will be available soon after the official launch.

Effect on the Market

Tata Motors is adding to its line of electric vehicles with the Harrier EV. The Nexon EV and Tiago.ev are already part of this line. This action shows that the corporation is serious about sustainable transportation and makes it a major player in India’s developing electric vehicle market.
