Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G India Launch on June 3

On June 3 at 12 PM, Infinix is preparing to introduce the Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G, their most feature-rich 5G smartphone to date, in India. With its powerful Dimensity chipset, gaming triggers, large battery that supports both wired and wireless charging, and high-refresh-rate display, the phone is geared specifically towards mobile gamers.

Infinix has confirmed its partnership with Flipkart for the India launch, following weeks of teasers and spec leaks. According to early listings, the mid-range smartphone segment is expected to make a strong debut. The GT 30 Pro has already been released in a few international markets, such as Malaysia, and all indications suggest that the launch price in India will be approximately ₹26,999.

Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G Specifications and Features

With its 6.78-inch AMOLED display, 144 Hz refresh rate, and 2160 Hz touch sampling, the Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G offers incredibly fluid graphics and quick reaction times while gaming. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i provides protection, boasting a brightness of up to 1100 nits and a 1.5K resolution (1224 x 2720).

It directly competes with phones like the iQOO Neo 7, Realme GT series, and Poco F-series thanks to this combination, making it one of the most display-rich phones in its price range.

MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, a 4nm processor also found in other recent performance-focused phones, is at the core of the GT 30 Pro. It comes with UFS 3.1 storage up to 512GB and 12GB LPDDR5X RAM (which can be expanded to 24GB with virtual RAM). Infinix promises two years of OS updates and three years of security patches for the phone, which runs on XOS 15, which is based on Android 14.

Infinix has included an XBoost Gaming Engine and a vapor chamber cooling system to maintain consistent performance while gaming. Krafton, the publisher of the game, has certified the phone’s optimization to run BGMI at 120 frames per second.

Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G Specifications

Gaming phones often compromise on camera quality, but Infinix has created a functional setup. An 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 108MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) are housed in the rear camera module. The phone has a 13MP front camera that can record 4K video at 30 frames per second for selfies.

Standard features like night mode, portrait, panorama, and AI enhancements are anticipated to be available in the camera app. The GT 30 Pro’s configuration is well-suited for daily content capture, despite not being a camera-first phone.

The 5,500mAh battery, which supports 30W wireless charging and 45W fast wired charging, is one of its best features. You can charge other devices while on the go with its reverse charging capabilities, which include 10W cable and 5W wireless charging.

This feature is a significant advantage for consumers who prefer convenience without needing to plug in, and it is uncommon in the mid-range category.

The Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G has built-in shoulder triggers with a 520 Hz touch response, which is unique in this market, to appeal to gamers. You can use these for precise control in racing and shooting games, as they resemble real buttons.

Particularly in the Dark Flare version, the Cyber Mecha 2.0 design features customizable RGB LED lights on the back. These lights add style and functionality by pulsing for notifications or while playing games.

The phone comes pre-installed with Android 14, and Infinix promises three years of security patches and two major Android updates. XOS 15, which offers UI customization options, memory expansion capabilities, and gaming tools, powers the software experience. A cleaner user experience has resulted from Infinix removing the majority of superfluous pre-installed apps in this generation.

Gorilla Glass gives it some durability against drops and scratches, and it has an IP64 rating for resistance to dust and splashes. With rounded edges and textured sides for improved handling, the GT 30 Pro is still lightweight and manageable even though it’s a gaming phone.

Infinix GT 30 Pro 5G Color Options

There are two finishes available for the phone:

  1. Dark Flare: RGB backlighting in black or grey
  2. Blade White: Features a crisp, silver-white appearance and includes matrix LED illumination.
