5 Electric Scooters Launching in India by 2026

Honda entered the electric two-wheeler industry earlier this year in India with the Activa e and QC1 electric scooters. In January, Suzuki also debuted the e-Access, its first electric scooter, at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. New Chetak and iQube models were also introduced in the domestic market by Bajaj and TVS, the leading companies in the e2w sector.

Overall, the first half saw a flurry of activity in the EV sector. However, with electric scooters prepared to take to Indian roads, the next six months should be much more exciting. Let’s take a closer look at these models.

1. Suzuki e-Access

    The Suzuki e-Access, which was introduced at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year, is Suzuki Motorcycle India’s first electric scooter. Suzuki’s Gurgaon plant has started production, and the scooter is anticipated to go on sale in June 2025.
